Technical Hitch...

Hiya,

Can anyone tell me how I can make posts appear on different tabs on my blog.
I have tried to add some and I check it is on the right tab, preview it and check and then when I publish it, it ends up on the home tab instead of the tab I wanted it on...  Finding it very fraustrating...

If you know how or can suggest anything please do.

Thank you

Teacup Fairy

Hi, ok this is the last one for now as I need to try and get some sleep...

I love this image, it is called 'Teacup Fairy' and it is from Mo's Digital Pencil and the image can be purchased from http://digitalpenciltoo.com/index.php/Teacup-Fairy.html

I actually made this card for my mum when she was poorly.  I loved the purples and lilac colours and wanted to start learning to use my pro markers.  This is what I ended up with.

The flowers and Leaves were out of y stash as was the Ribbon (one of the sheer ones)  I ordered the Silver Heart Charm ages ago and it was also in my stash and I just added a few diamontes to it.  The diamontes are also on the flowers on the up and saucer and I used a silver glitter pen in the wings and around the swirls.  I really love this card and feel very proud of it!

I know that I need to work on my colouring, and practice some shading.  A lovely lady (Kate Wiles) as did two lovely ladies also from Wild Rose Studios (SallyAnn Baker) and (Dulcie Mascord) gave me some great advice, and helped me find some confidence.

Well, for my first go I am pleased.  I am hoping to colour this image again just to see if I can improve my colouring, work on my shading and try out different colours. I think pink will have to be one!

Thanks for looking and please feel free to leave me any tips or advice on colouring, shading etc.

Hugs xx

Daffodills and Buterfly

Hi All,

On a roll now...here is the second card I made which was for Mother's Day.  I had the daffodils in my stash which I decoupaged.  I used sticker corners and a butterfly and then clear diamontes to leave a butterfly trial.

I have to say my favourite part was getting to play with my new Martha Stewart Punch on the right hand side of the front panel...

I really had fun learning to do that.  I also added diamontes to the insides (middles) of the daffodils too and along the body of the butterfly.

It was a very quick make but I am pleased with how it came out.

I would also like to enter this card into Lisa B Design Blog Monthly Challenge 'Orange and Yellow'

Thanks for looking and hope you like my play time :0)

Dinosaur Card

This is the Mother's Day Card I made for a good friend of mine.  His Little Boy Leo gave very specific instructions (via Daddy)  Orange, Dinosaur and Lillies....

I think I did ok really...Anyway, Dad (Keith was pleased) and mum was really pleased.  So a worthwhile effort all round.

I would like to enter this card into Lisa B Designs Monthly Challege  'Orange and Yellow'

Thanks for looking and more updates to come soon

Apologies

Hi All,

Please accept my lack of adding to my blog.

I have been unwell and suffering over the last few weeks, however, I promise to start putting some posts up soon.

I managed a few cards for Mother's Day, Easter and for Friends and Families.

I also have birthday ones - Shamefully, I have started them and not been well enough to finish them so they will arrive just later than their birthday!  Very unlike me.

I held of posting originally, to ensure Mother's Day cards were not spoilt and seen here first!  So, once I have remembered how to use the blog and upload etc I will add ASAP.

Again, sorry and hope you understand.
Hugs and best wishes,

Forever Friends Christmas Card

Forever Friends Christmas Card

I know I should be playing with flowers for Mother's Day but I really love this card.

I love the image, they layout and all of it. I see it and think I really like that, and then the best bit is, I made it.
I had fun with the Cuttlebug, matting and layering and embossing.  The snowflakes were made using a snowflake punch and I added little red gems to them.  I think the card is simple but really effective.  I would love to know what you think.
Thanks for looking :0)

I would like to enter this card for: http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Fizzy Moon - Ballet Shoes

I really love Fizzy Moon, I think it is so cute, these ballet slippers are so different so I thought I would make a tall card and add a flower on the bottom with a sentiment.  The green leaves are a punch and there is a brad in the centre of the flower.  I just layered them up for a different effect.

Forever Friends Cake Time

This is a fun card to make, not hugely fond of pink but loved blinging up the card, the decoupage was fun too and I enjoyed the outcome and process.

Thanks for looking

Penny Black - Cat and Mouse

This was made for a good friend of mine who wanted it for her mum.  It was sent all the way to Italy!

I had fun with the stamps, colouring he baubles, making flowers and adding the bling!

Kitten in Stocking

I think this kitten in the stocking was really cute and loved the little robin on the washing line with the snow.  I decided to bling it up with glitter glue and think this card came out much better than I initially though it would..
